What To Expect
At your first appointment, please allow an hour for a thorough assessment of your foot care needs, during which I will provide essential treatments and application of appropriate medicinal products. Subsequent visits will take approximately 30 minutes and can include additional treatments for other conditions, with your consent.

Patients often ask about the differences between Chiropodists, Podiatrists, and Foot Health Practitioners (FHPs). The first two terms refer to the same profession; both are trained to degree level, can perform surgery under anaesthesia, and can prescribe medications. FHPs, on the other hand, are qualified to assess and treat all essential foot care, including diabetic foot care, and may collaborate with Chiropodists and Podiatrists when necessary.

NAIL TRIMMING
Nails protect the underlying nail bed from injury. If left untrimmed, they can become damaged and lead to further issues.
CALLUS
A buildup of thickened skin caused by repeated friction or pressure. If not addressed, it can lead to significant discomfort.
CORNS
A cone-shaped buildup of skin that can cause discomfort and potentially lead to complications like ulcers. This condition can also affect the way you walk.
VERRUCA
A verruca is a small, rough skin growth on the foot caused by the HPV virus. It often has black dots and can be painful.
CRACKED AND HARD SKIN
Cracked heels and hard skin can cause discomfort and lead to painful fissures. We offer treatments to help prevent and manage these issues.
INGROWN NAIL
Ingrown toenails occur when the edges of the nail grow into the surrounding skin, causing pain and potential infection. We provide treatments to relieve discomfort and prevent further issues.
FUNGAL NAIL
A fungal nail infection often presents as a thickened and discolored nail. Our Lacuna treatment plan is designed to effectively address this troublesome condition.
DIABETIC FEET
Diabetic feet require regular care, as individuals with diabetes are more susceptible to serious foot complications. Routine check-ups are essential for prevention and management.
